Add eSIM or Set up Cellular/Mobile Data Plan

Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM or Set up Cellular/Mobile Service > Use QR Code on your device.

Ensure your device has a stable internet connection before installing your eSIM.

Scan QR Code

1. Scan the QR code or take a screenshot (up to iOS 17.3).
2. Tap Open Photos, select it from your camera roll, and tap Next.
3. Tap Continue twice and wait for the network connection.
4. Once connected, tap Done.

Choose a Label for Your New eSIM Plan

1. Choose a suggested label (e.g., Travel) or create a custom one (e.g., Glacier eSIM).
2. Tap Continue.

Choose Default Lines

1. Choose Primary for your default line and tap Continue.
2. Select Primary for iMessage and FaceTime, then tap Continue.
3. Choose your new eSIM plan for cellular/mobile data and tap Continue.
