Handling an Incoming Call

- If your device is open but not in the Glacier app when the call arrives, you will see a notification pop up at the top of your screen indicating the incoming call. Tap on the notification, and you will be brought to the incoming call screen.
- Otherwise, when the call arrives, you will be shown the incoming call screen directly.
- On the incoming call screen, you may either
- Ignore the call by pressing the red button on the left, or
- Answer the call by pressing the green button on the right.
Voice and Video Call Options
During a call using Glacier Chat, you will see icons near the bottom of the screen that can be used during your call. There are three main features you can control while on a voice or video call within Glacier Chat:
- Microphone - Click the microphone icon to turn the microphone off and mute the call. While off, a slash will be shown through the icon. Click again to turn the microphone back on.
- Sound Output - Click the Speaker icon to toggle between the phone's earpiece and its speakerphone. If bluetooth is enabled and connected, then clicking the speaker icon will cause a window to pop up on the screen asking you to select either the phone, speakerphone, or bluetooth for output.
- Video - To enable video on the call, click the video camera icon. When video is enabled, there will be a fourth icon which will control the ability to switch between the front-facing and rear-facing cameras on your device.
