If your organization is subscribed to a service level that includes external calling and SMS, and your admin has enabled it for your account, then you will see the Glacier Phone module in Android, or the SMS tab in iOS.

Navigating the Glacier Phone Module

Glacier Phone has four primary sections, each with a tab at the bottom of the screen.

Getting an Assigned Phone Number

If a number has not yet been assigned to you, then the first step is to acquire a phone number.

  1. From within Glacier Phone or SMS, if you have permission to be able to purchase a phone number within the app, open the menu and select Add Number to choose a phone number.
  2. If you do not have permission to purchase your own number, contact your administrator or Glacier representative for assistance.

Once you have a phone number, you will see the number at the top of the Glacier Phone screen. If more than one phone number has been assigned to you, you can switch back and forth between numbers using the overflow menu at the top right of the screen.
