Connecting with the travel router in Repeater Mode

Using the Mudi touchscreen (Only for new version Mudi v7)

1. Make sure your phone, laptop, or tablet is connected to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Mudi 7.
2. On the Mudi 7 touchscreen, open Internet → Repeater.
3. Tap Connect. The Mudi 7 will scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks.
4. Select the hotel, airport, or airplane Wi-Fi network you want to use.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password if one is required and connect.
6. If the network uses a captive portal, open a browser on a device connected to the Mudi 7 and try to visit a website. Complete the hotel's or airline's login, room-number, payment, or terms-and-conditions page when it appears.
7. Once the captive portal is completed, devices connected to the Mudi should have Internet access through the repeated Wi-Fi connection.

Using the web admin panel

1. Connect your laptop, tablet, or phone to the Mudi Wi-Fi.
2. Open a browser and go to http://192.168.8.1.
3. Log in to the Mudi admin panel.
4. Go to Internet → Repeater and click Connect.
5. Select the hotel, airport, or airplane Wi-Fi network.
6. Enter the network password if required and click Apply.
7. Wait for the Mudi to connect.

Public Wi-Fi and captive portals

For hotel, airport, and airplane Wi-Fi, enable Auto-Enable Login Mode for Public Hotspots when it is available. This mode temporarily adjusts services such as DNS so the captive portal can load correctly.
