Welcome

Our phones now hold some of the most sensitive parts of our lives—messages, location, work conversations, financial access, and personal photos. Yet many modern apps and services are built around collecting data, tracking behavior, and storing large amounts of personal information.

Glacier is being built to take a different approach.

Our goal is to give people a more private and secure way to communicate and manage their devices, especially in situations where privacy truly matters. We believe people should be able to use modern technology without giving up control of their data.

For some people—executives, journalists, security teams, or high-profile individuals—privacy is not just a preference, it’s protection. But even for everyday users, reducing the amount of personal data exposed online is increasingly important.

By testing the app, you’re helping us refine the experience, improve the security features, and build something that protects people while remaining simple to use.

Thank you for helping us build it. We hope you enjoy using the app as much as we enjoy building it.

Getting Started

You’ll be testing the app through Apple’s TestFlight, which is Apple’s official system for testing apps before they are released to the public. TestFlight lets developers share early versions of apps so people can try them, provide feedback, and help catch any issues before launch.

We’re also gradually expanding the number of testing slots available. We’re increasing access in stages. If the test is full when you first check, please check back again soon—we frequently update the number of available spots.

One quick note while you’re using it:

Because the app uses Apple’s subscription system, you’ll see the normal Apple purchase screen during testing. This is expected.

When apps are tested through TestFlight, Apple automatically places all in-app purchases into a sandbox testing mode, which means:

Apple requires the real purchase screen to appear so we can verify that the subscription process works correctly.
